  1. Arlesford, Petersfield ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet 300. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 13" x 19" plus margins. Corrected to 1913. £20.00

  2. Bacon's MAP OF HAMPSHIRE South Division. By Edw. Weller. Divided into 5 mile squares. Colour printed map size approx. 12" x 18", central fold. Scale " to 1 mile. Divided into 5 mile squares. c1885. £12.00

  3. Barber (delt.) BONCHURCH engraving. Steel engraving, size approx. 4" x 6", later hand colouring, in ivory mount. c1860. £8.00

  4. Basing LAND IN THE OCCUPATION OF MR. W. ELLIOT in the Parish of Basing Called Razors Farm. 1865. Plan in ink on tracing paper, 15" x 17", 10 Chain Scale. Down right hand side is Schedule giving number on plan for 36 plots etc., with State and Quantity. Inset top left is small plan of a plot at Sherfield. With some later notes on schedule such as 'all taken by Railway 21.3.70'. There is a cotton backing sheet of the same size, to which the paper is not pasted. 1865. £34.00

  5. Basingstoke, Kingsclere, Stockbridge ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet XII. Scale 1" to 1 mile. Size 24" x 36", linen-backed and folding to 8vo, plain paper endpapers. Main roads, parkland, hand-coloured, county borders with wide pink and yellow bands of shading. Taken from an Electrotype 1867. £65.00

  6. Bonchurch, Shanklin ORDNANCE SURVEY MAPS Sheet XCIX N.E. Scale 6" to 1 mile, size 24" x 18", plus margins, dissected and mounted on linen, folding into 8vo paper wraps. Main roads coloured. Surface rather dusty. About half the map is sea area. Revised 1907. £17.00

  7. Bourne St. Mary MORTGAGE of a messuage and lands in Saint Mary Bourne, Robert Noyes of Hatherdine and Edmund Rolfe of Bourne, to Katherine Barlow of Andover. Vellum sheets, size 20" x 38", two small armorial wax seal. Some slight browning in parts, engraved initial letter slightly rubbed. 1715. £38.00
    Concerned a messuage in Saint Mary Bourne 'near the May Pole there', and another messuage called 'Billetts' as well as various closes of land, including closes in the village called Link, Longclose, Bedlams and Lyes, Pepper Hill field, etc.

  8. Broughton PARTICULARS of the very attractive residential property known as 'Broughton House'... comprising an Old Queen Anne House of Medium Size... entrance lodge and two cottages... lovely old gardens, intersected by Stream in all nearly 26 Acres... 'Clifton Cottage' and a pair of quaint old thatched cottages... for sale by Auction... 21st July, 1925... 12pp., small folio, folding plan at rear. 3 tipped-in photographs, and one on front wrap. Traces of vertical fold, wraps dust-stained. 1925. £12.00

  9. Christchurch PARTICULARS of a Valuable Freehold Estate comprising a Marine Residence called Heathercliffe House.... which will be sold by Auction.... 17th of June, 1864.... 2pp., folio, folded, plus folding lithographed plan, by Driver & Son Surveyors, showing the cliffs etc. 2" tear in text, repaired with archival tape. 1864. £26.00

Dean PARTICULARS, VIEWS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE of a Country Manor House known as 'East Dean House', together with some excellent Trout Fishing, Matured Gardens... in all about 17 Acres... for Sale by Auction, 27th September, 1921. 8pp., 8vo, stiff wraps, four photographs on two plates. 1921. £12.00

  11. Froyle WILL of Ann Nicholas of Froyle, spinster. 3p., folio. Leaves properties in Foyle and Fee Farm rents out of Chantry lands in Somerset to her sister Mary Moody and nieces, money bequests to her servants and Bailiff, mahogany bureau to her Bailiff's wife... together with... WILL of Mary Annabella Moody of Froyle. 7p., folio. Leaves bequests in property and goods to her daughters, including 'miniature picture of their father'. Her sons are not included as she has for years 'permitted them to take to their own use my share and interest in the Profits of the Brewery Mailting and Distilling Businesses in Southampton'. 2 items. First will proved 1826, second will 1830. Examined 1846. £20.00

  12. Gosport AB ABSTRACT of the Title Deeds belonging to a House &c in Cold Harbour in Gosport which Mr. Erasmus Carver purchased of the Revd. Mr. Thomas Symonds, with Remarks thereon. Manuscript on 2p., folio, folded with docket title. Details deeds from 1681. c1770. £18.00

  13. Gosport boatbuilder AUX. SCHOONER YACHT 125 Tons Y.M. Sail and Rigging Plan. Scale reproduced drawing in white on blue background, size 26" x 38", Shows side view, with smaller view from bow end on left, inset drawing of look-out. List of 'Particulars of Spars' top right. With stamp of Camper and Nicholson, Gosport Drawing Office, and date in pencil 20.12.19, and initials in red. 1919. £30.00
    The origins of the firm in Gosport go back to the beginning of the 19th century. The period after the First World War was the hey-day of the company, when they employed very large numbers of people.

  16. Portsmouth Office of Ordnance RECEIVED this 30th day of June 1702 out of Her Mats. Stores within the Office of Ordnance... Manuscript receipt for issue of 50 'Snaphaunce Musquetts' for Lord Shannon's Regiment, pursuant to an Order of the Board 25th June 1702. 7 lines on one side of small 4to, blank conjoint leaf with a long tear, paper slightly browned. Siged by T. Markham. 30th June 1702. £65.00
    The 2nd Viscount Shannon became Colonel of Prince George of Denmark's Regiment of Marines in February 1702. Later that year he commanded a brigade during the storming of Vigo in the War of the Spanish Succession.

  17. Portsmouth Office of Ordnance TO BE FORTHWITH ISSUED out of her Matys. Stores within the said Office at Portsmouth... Manuscript order on 1p, sm. folio, for powder for 3 months for the Marquis de Montandre's Regiment, itemising quantities of 'Corn Powder', 'Musqtt. Shott'. With three signatures. Blank conjoint leaf, small piece of paper torn from corner of both leaves at top, well away from any text, the pieces that have been torn are present and could be re-attached. Paper uniformly darkened. 13th June 1712. £65.00
    One of the signatures is that of Newdigate Owsley, who was Paymaster General under Queen Anne. Montandre had arrived in England as a Huguenot refugee. He was given command of a regiment and fought in the Nine Years War and the War of the Spanish Succession. He became Master General of the Ordnance in Ireland.

  18. Portsmouth REPORT UPON THE PROPOSED MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY and Division into Wards of the Borough of Portsmouth. Plan and 4pp, disbound. 2 fully-coloured plans on one page, one scale 1" to 1 mile, one 4" to 1 mile. Offsetting on page 1 of text. (1837) £20.00

  33. Vosper's PATENT 4-CYLINDER LAUNCH ENGINE Important Testimonial. Advertising Sheet, size 15" x 9", printed on one side only, the large heading and border in gold, testimonial from E.S.     Vospers were a shipbuilding company, established in 1871. They became well known for their high-speed yachts.
