DECLARATION by James Coleman that he saw Sarah Alford of Offington, widow, sign and execute an assignment dated 16th May 1716.
11 lines on 4to sheet, signed by Coleman and witnessed. The assignment was of a banker's order (No. 1218), 1705, and an annuity on a yearly sum in lieu of £800 principal.

LETTER OF ATTORNEY for receiving patent money, John Burges, Sheriff of Sussex to James Parke and John Ellis, attornies.
Manuscript, 25 lines, folio, signed by Burges and two witnesses with fine large wax seal showing a sheaf of corn. Slight trace of tear from bottom edge.
¶ The attornies were authorised to receive ninety pounds and five shilling, payment to him from the Exchequer.
MAP Lithographed from the Ordnance Survey, scale 6" to the mile.
Printed with index to the Meets bottom right - Crawley and Horsham, Lord Lecconfield's, Chiddingfold, Southdown, with key giving letters and numbers printed along the margins. Size 70" x 54", dissected and mounted on linen, folding into folio boards, marbled endpapers. River Ader with later blue colouring.
¶ Extends from Horsham to Shoreham, Hove to Arundel.
CONVEYANCE of part of a farm called Woods Place, Susanna Cheale and others to Robert and Thomas Hogg.
