  1. Alciston, Folkington ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP. Sheet LXVIII. Engraved surface 24" x 36", plus margins, scale 6" to 1 mile. Some small numbers in red ink, possibly marking watermains etc. 1878. £30.00

  2. Arundel PARTICULARS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE of Valuable and Important Property situate in the Borough of Arundel.... Which will be Sold by Auction.... at the Norfolk Arms Hotel, Arundel, the 26th July, 1875. In 32 Lots. 18pp, folio, blue printed wraps. Lacks the seven plans. Two small holes rubbed in front wrap, some minor waterstaining at inner margin of some leaves and title, repair in front wrap. 1875. £16.00

  8. Brighton PROBATE COPY of the Will of Anne Partington of Brighton, Spinster. Vellum, size 15" x 17", large papered seal, cracked. Outside very duststained. 1863. £12.00

  9. Chichester LETTER from Dorothea Sharp to William Adair Esq., Pall-Mall, London, dated Chichester 3rd Aug. 1762. 8 lines in a fine bold hand on 1p, 4to, signed 'Dorothea Sharp', blank conjoint leaf with address panel on verso, broken black wax seal, postmark 'Chi/chester' and 4/AV in a circle. 1762. £26.00
    Says she has 'taken the Liberty to draw on you' for £13.6s in favour of Mr. Henry Mullins.. it being the subsistence due to my Husband Lieut. Sharp as Adjutant of the 9th Regm. ...' William Adair was a well-known broker of the time. In a famous case, the brothers Perreau were executed for forging a bond for £7.500 in the name of Adair.

Dissected and mounted on linen, folding into small 8vo marbled wraps with Stanford label and key map on front. c1890. £20.00
    The bottom half of the map is sea area.

  34. Worthing PLAN OF WORTHING Colour printed plan, size 25" x 42", scale 1" = 400ft. Dissected and mounted on linen, folding to rubbed sm. 4to, marbled endpapers. no date. c1870. £120.00
    Shows buildings in red, parkland, parish boundaries, shore as far as low water mark, groynes etc. Streets named. Covers area from Elm Grove to Meadow Road,Broadwater Green to the shore.
