  1. Ashford, Canterbury, Margate ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet III. Scale 1" to 1 mile. Dissected and mounted on linen, size 24" x 36", folding into 8vo marbled endpapers. Thin black ink line drawn along the road from Westgate Bay through Canterbury to Charing. Electrotype 1876. £40.00

  2. Bacon's PLAN OF CHATHAM Rochester, etc. Coloured plan, size approx 12" x 18", single fold at centre. Scale 6" to 1 mile. c1885. £18.00

  3. Brasted ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet XXXIX.3. Scale 25" to 1 mile. Size 37" x 26". Roads, water features, buildings hand coloured. Covers the whole of Brasted, St. Martins Church, Court Lodge. Trace of central vertical fold, 3" tear in this fold neatly repaired on verso. Almost a quarter of the map is blank as outside the boundary. 1874. £26.00

  4. Dymchurch PARTICULARS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE of a Freehold Dwelling House and Ripe Building Land... situate at Dunkirk End... to be Sold by Auction... 15th August, 1904. 3pp., folio, folded with docket title. 1904. £12.00
    At the back of the dwelling house was a brick building 'formerly used as a Herring Hang'.

  5. East Wickham ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet II.15. Scale 25" to 1 mile, size 35" x 23" plus margins. Roads, water features, buildings, hand-coloured. Part of top edge with small nicks, traces of central vertical fold, 2" repaired tear at bottom margin. O.S. embossed stamp 1863. £30.00
    Covers Welling, East Wickham, Bell Grove, Dover Road, Williams Terrace.

Erith & Wrotham PARTICULARS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE of a Very Valuable Freehold Estate called The Marsh Farm.... and a Public House called The Chequers or Halfway House, Situate on the Banks of the River Thames, at Erith.... and also of a Freehold Estate at Wrotham... with a residence called Ivy Hall.... For Sale by Auction.... 23rd September, 1847. Folio, 3pp, fine double-page lithographed plan by J. Cross & Son, Holborn, loosely inserted, hand-coloured in full wash colour showing the Thames, The Chequers building and adjacent fields, with table of reference. 1846. £28.00

  7. Folkestone, New Romney, Kingsnorth ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet 305. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 13" x 19", border all round, boundaries, main roads, railways, parkland and water features hand-coloured. Dissected and mounted on linen, folding into small 8vo marbled wraps with Stanford label and key map on front. c1890. £18.00
    The bottom right quarter of the map is sea area.

  8. Forest Hill ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet VII.6. Scale 25" to 1 mile. Size 25" x 37". Water features, roads, buildings hand coloured. Small repaired tear in bottom margin. n.d. c1865. £36.00
    Extends from Willow Walk in the south to Tewkesbury Lodge in the north. About half the map is blank as it only covers the Kent part to the border.

  9. Geographia Ltd. Pub. MAP OF KENT by Alexander Gross. Colour-printed map, size 28" x 36", dissected and mounted on linen, folding into large 8vo boards. Scale 2 miles to an inch. Index to places in Kent bottom right, and in top right corner Table of Distances. n.d. 1920? £14.00
    Covers as far north as Hampstead, as far west as Brighton.

  10. Hartlip, Rainham, Otterham Quay ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet XX.7 and sheets to south and west, scale 25" to 1 mile. Size 76" x 80", linen-backed and folding into rubbed and chipped marbled endpapers 10" x 7", Stanford label. Covers Twinney Saltings, Horsham March, Otterham Quay, Hartlip, part of Rainham. Water features hand-coloured. Area round Gorse Hill, Gore House and Otterham Quay outlined in red, with various pipe line marked, and some notes, e.g. 'Vineyard Orchard purchased by Eastwoods Oct. 1913 for Chalk'. Shows various brickworks, chalk pits, etc. Two splits in linen, 8" and 4" at top left section. Second Edition 1897. £40.00

  11. Hop-picking POSTCARD titled 'Hop-Picking, Kent.' with black and white view of a group of hop-pickers standing amidst hop poles covered in hops, large filled sack. Group includes sailor in uniform and some children. Sent through the post with Goudhurst postmark (date has not come out). Mockford Series 4. n.d. c1910. £7.00

  12. Lewisham ASSIGNMENT of the a house and a piece of land between the London-Lewisham Road and the Tunbridge-Dartford Railway, James Kent to William Giddins. Vellum, 22" x 28", 2 wax seals. Small coloured plan in margin. 1867. £12.00

  13. Perry Hill, Rushy Green ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet VII.7. Scale 25" to 1 mile. Size 25" x 37". Water features, roads, buildings hand-coloured. Traces of central vertical fold, some repaired tears in top margin. n.d. Embossed Ordnance stamp 1862. £30.00
    Extends from London and Brighton Railway, Lowther Hill top left, to Claremont Villa, Rose Lawn. Shows in detail the house and garden layout of various large houses such as Perrymount, Red Hall, Perry House. Shows various gravel pits.

  15. Rochester, Tunbridge ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet VI. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 25" x 36", mounted on linen and folding into plain green 8vo wraps. Main roads, parkland, county boundaries hand-coloured. Electrotyped in 1864. £45.00
    Includes small areas of Surrey and Sussex.

    Attractive map with the whole of Westerham at the centre, Squerryes Court with its large pool, Dunsdale with its lake, River Darent.
