  1. Ball (Wm.) & Son, Ltd., Rothwell GENERAL PURPOSE PRIZE CART no 1A, 3A, Royal Prize Bedford Cart No 2 and no 3. Large 4to, printed on both sides with woodcut illustrations of four carts, and descriptions... a small folio sheet with illustration and description of the Beet Lifter, and two other large 4to sheets, which have some small edge tears, illustrating Bedford Cart, various Farm Lurries, plus another sheet with two photographic illustrations of carts. c1912. £20.00
    The company was at the Royal Prize Implement Works, Rothwell.


  2. Brigstock, Wadenhoe, Geddington, Corby TWO ORDNANCE SURVEY MAPS Scale 6" to one mile. Each size 36" x 39". Sheet XVIII N.E. and sheets to south and west, and Sheet XVII N.E. and sheets to south and west. Dissected and linen-backed, grey endpapers with Stanford labels, inserted in cloth-covered 8vo slipcase. Second Edition 1901. £35.00
    Shows good detail of Boughton House, Rushton Hall, Glendon Hall etc.


  3. Carlton NORTH VIEW OF THE REVD. MR SLYE'S HOUSE at Carlton in the County of Northampton, the seat of Sr. Jon. Palmer bart 1809. Pencil drawing size 8" x 10" on thick paper. Shows house with trees at the side, children with hoops, adults and a dog on the lawn. Paper watermarked 1809. £12.00
    A rather naive drawing but the architectural detail of the house is good. The Revd. Matthias Slye altered the church substantially in the 1780's, with the costs born by the Lord of the Manor, Sir John Palmer, of Carlton Hall.

  4. Stewkley SETTLEMENT on the intended Marriage of Joseph Hiorns, Farmer of Ashow, Warwickshire, and Mary Payne of Banbury, Oxfordshire. Four large vellum sheets, signed with four wax seals. Refers to an annuity and an estate in Stewkley, Northamptonshire. 1837. £10.00
