NORTH VIEW OF THE REVD. MR SLYE'S HOUSE at Carlton in the County of Northampton, the seat of Sr. Jon. Palmer bart 1809.
Pencil drawing size 8" x 10" on thick paper. Shows house with trees at the side, children with hoops, adults and a dog on the lawn.
Paper watermarked 1809.

¶ A rather naive drawing but the architectural detail of the house is good. The Revd. Matthias Slye altered the church substantially in the 1780's, with the costs born by the Lord of the Manor, Sir John Palmer, of Carlton Hall.

MAP OF A FARM AT LOLHAM the Property of William Fludyer Esq. 1851.
Manuscript map in ink and full wash colour, on cartridge paper backed with linen. Size 24" x 32", scale 3 chains to an inch. Large calligraphic title, scale bar, table of Reference with key to 21 fields, woods, building etc., inset map bottom left of land in Maxey Fen next to the River Welland, scale 6 chains to an inch. Shows homestead with ponds, garden layout, fields, hedgerows, river, railway with level crossing, woods, adjoining owners. Signed below scale bar 'Charles Day, Surveyor, Colleyweston.'
