Notice, size 15" x 10", printed in very large letters, in a variety of type-faces. 'V.R.' and a large coat of arms at head Gitton, Printer, High Street. July 7th 1852. £28.00

Bridgnorth FREEHOLD PROPERTY TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION at the Crown Hotel in Bridgnorth... 3rd Day of February, 1862... 1p., folio, describing Lot in details, plus page with docket title, and a fine double-page lithographed plan, hand-coloured, scale 88 ft. to an inch, showing details of garden etc. 1862. £28.00
    Property comprised a Family Mansion, Flower and Kitchen Garden, Shrubberies etc., two pieces of meadow, tenement suitable for the Residence of a small and genteel Family, Three Cottages. The large residence was occupied by Robert Harrison.

July 3rd, 1913. 2pp., folio, plus page with fine large photograph of the hotel, size 7" x 8", showing people outside, and a tram stopped just in front of the entrance. Gardens... Several Excellent Farms, Water Corn Mill, Cottages, Orchard and Garden Ground in the Parishes of Burford and Greets... and Grove Farm in Hope Bagot... which will be Sold by Auction... November 8th, 1876... 12pp., large folio, original wraps, cloth spine. A variety of type-faces throughout. Fine lithographed frontispiece showing the house and gardens, 2 large folding plans. There are worm-holes throughout, mainly in the right margin, but on the map of the Grove Farm at the end, and the last page, these are more widespread over the page. 1876. £25.00

  5. Petton (Manor of) CHIROGRAPH OF A FINE between Watkin Williams, plt, Edward Maurice and Hannah his wife, deforciants. On vellum, in a large hand, in English, size 12" x 19". Small stain at bottom left, with loss of a few words, some light browning. 1769. £16.00
    Maurice and his wife were deforciants of 'one third of the Manor of Petton and one third part of 20 messuages, 20 gardens, 1,000 acres of land, 500 acres of meadow, 1,000 acres of pasture... 20 acres of land covered with water', and a third part of six messuages and common of pasture in Petton, Melverley, the town of Shrewsbury, Kinnerley, etc.
