  1. Bartholomew's REDUCED ORDNANCE SURVEY For Tourists & Cyclists. Sheet 34. Dorset. Scale 2 miles to an inch. Colour-printed, linen-backed and folding into decorative blue cloth wraps. c1918. £12.00

  2. Beale's Fancy Fair, Publisher PHOTOGRAPHIC VIEWS OF BOURNEMOUTH AND NEIGHBOURHOOD Sm. 4to, 42 photolitho views on extending strip (some full page, some 2, 4 or 6 to a page). Gilt title on front board. Map on back endpaper, lacks the back free endpaper with half the map. c1900. £16.00
    Includes two good views of Beale's shop.

  3. Bloxworth ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet XLII N.E. Scale 6" to 1 mile. Size 13" x 17", plus margins. Second Edition 1902. £10.00
    Covers Bloxworth House, Morden, Black Heath.

  4. Bryanston WILL of William Straight of Bryanston, Gent. 2p., small folio, conjoint leaf had been used as address panel by Robert Gapper to send the will to John Long at Whalley, near Frome, with small round stamp with letters 'AP'. Conjoint leaf torn right across, splits down main fold, paper creased. 1724. £17.00
    Extracted copy with Probate details in Latin. Refers to his Manor of Compton in Wiltshire, messuage in Stourpaine.

  5. Chardstock AGREEMENT for a Lease of messuage and land at Alson, John Stevens of Axminster to Philip Griffith of Lyme Regis. 3p, folio, including 12-line schedule with names of fields. 2 small splits at folds, outer sheet dusty. 1853. £10.00

  6. Chardstock (Liberty and Manor of) LICENCE to William Bond of Axminster, Land Surveyor, to let a cottage and four acres called Purdishay in Chardstock. Granted at the Court Baron of the Rt. Hon. George Lord Auckland... Vellum, 12«" x 15"... together with two other similar documents giving licence to Bond to let a cottage late Burridges, and a tenement called Boards. This last document has two lines almost rubbed away. 3 items. 1814. £16.00

  7. Evershott WILL AND CODICIL OF HENRY PETTY of Evershott. Attested copy. 2p, folio. Ink slightly faded. 1841. £10.00
    Bequeathes his property in Evershott to three Trustees for the use of his wife.

Provisional Edition Sheet SY67 (Weymouth and Portland) 1958 (6" scale, not geological). Size 21" x 20, plus margins. Five maps in all. 1937-1976. £20.00

  10. Hinton St. Mary WILL of William Wadman of Hinton St. Mary, Carpenter. 1p., blank conjoint leaf. Signed by Wadman and three witnesses with wax seal. 1831. £12.00

  11. Lydlinch DECLARATION of Robert Drake, of Poole, Pork Butcher, as to the heirs of his father's brother, Thomas Drake, of Lydlinch, yeoman. 3p., folio, folded. Gives information about the eleven children of Thomas, where they lived, where buried etc. 1853. £8.00

  12. Lyme Regis, Lydlinch MORTGAGE of Messuages Farms and Lands in Dorset Somerset and Devon for securing £6000 and Interest. Revd. H. Yeatman of Stock Gaylord Dorset to Revd. J. Daintry Vicar of Putney, Wiltshire, and J. Du Boulay of Holwell, Somerset. Made in pursuance of an Act of Parliament. Properties include Summerleaze Estate at Kilmington, Devon, newly-built house in Lyme Regis on Uplyme Road, houses in Vicarage St., Yeovil, and Holwell, and house and orchards at Lydlinch in Dorset. 23 ms pages, folio, secured with pin. Contemporary copy. 21st Aug. 1845. £20.00

  13. Melcombe Regis WILL of Mary Petty. Attested copy on 7p sm. folio. 1858. £9.00
    Details her bequests of 'purple & gold Dresden china' etc.

  14. Portland ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet No. XVII. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 24" x 31", sea area hand-coloured in blue wash, yellow shading around coast. Dissected and mounted on linen, folding to large 4to, marbled endpapers. A red line has been drawn from the railway near Broadway to Abbotsbury. Electrotyped 1872. £40.00
    Covers Dorchester, Bridport, Lulworth Cove. The red line shows the railway branch line to Abbotsbury through Upwey, opened in 1885.

  15. Portland ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet No. XVII. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 24" x 31". 10" repaired tear at right-hand edge, in sea area, but just touching Isle of Portland. O.S blindstamp 1880. £22.00
    Covers Chesil Beach, Bridport, Dorchester, Lulworth.

  20. Weymouth PROPOSED PLAN of Layout of the Weymouth Bay Estate. Estate Surveyors Jackson & Greenen, Bournemouth. Coloured plan, size 20" x 34", showing plots above Overcombe Beach, proposed Cliff Walk and Gardens, Recreation Ground, Charlbury Lodge, Jordon Farm, Preston. Each plot numbered. Some stamped 'Sold'. Folded to 8vo. Issued November 1926. £12.00

  21. Wimborne PLAN OF WIMBORNE MINSTER copper engraved plan, covering the town from Walford Mill to Deans Court. Size 13" x 10", clipped to edge on left side. With Reference table giving index to buildings. Small compass rose with face of sun. n.d. late 18th century. £8.00
    Appears to have been taken from a book.

  22. Wyke Regis, Manor of ADMISSION of Jacob Roper, a Minor, to a tenement in Elwell. Vellum, 12" x 28", waterstaining along one fold, but legible. Verso of deed browned. 1837. £10.00
