LETTER from Richard Belward, President of the College, Nov. 29, 1791, to the Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Norwich.
2p., 4to, in a clear hand, blank conjoint leaf with address panel and indistinct postmark.
¶ Humbly requests the Bishop to 'accept our Testimonials for Orders even when the College Seal is not affix'd'. The statute requires all the Society to be present to set the seal, and it's not always convenient. A previous testimonial had been rejected 'tho' signed by the Master and all the Fellows then resident...'

POWER OF ATTORNEY whereby Daniel Swaine of Leverington appoints James Allardes of London, Merchant, his attorney.
Allardes is empowered to receive money due to Swaine from the Exchequer paid to three named people on the conviction of Thomas Newman and William Johnson for felony and burglary. 28 lines on folio sheet, signed by Swaine and two witnesses, fine armorial wax seal. Traces of a tear from the right edge to the bottom, which has been professionally repaired.

ORDER TO RE-PAY Thomas Shepeard, Sheriff of Cambridge and Huntingdon for the year ended Michaelmas 1784, money he overpaid.
Folio sheet, written on both sides. The first two paragraphs signed by Jno. Heaton, Deputy Clerk of the Pipe, and below this are 26 lines signed 'Graham' at the Whitehall Treasury Chamber 1785, authorising the payment. Long professionally repaired tear across bottom of sheet.
