Smee, Davenport Desk'. He seems to travel often to York and pays 'York Lodge Masonic' two guineas and 'York Volunteer Corps' one guinea. There are payments for items for his family members (a bay horse for G. Sex). There are many names where the nature of the payment is not given. Approx. 100 double pages, ink slightly faded in parts, pages not full of entries.
