  1. Bowen (E) AN ACCURATE MAP OF THE COUNTY OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE Divided into its Hundreds, Drawn from Surveys assisted by the most approved Modern Maps.... Engraved map, coloured in outline, size 27" x 21". Decorative cartouche showing fisherman, descriptions of University, Wisbech etc. around edge of map. Traces of two vertical folds, with one fold slightly torn along approx. 10", which is not particularly noticeable. Someone has re-inforced these folds with brown tape on the back. c1790. £45.00

Chatteris Ferry, Wisbech, Tid Gote and Downham Bridge TURNPIKE Notice is hereby given, That the General Annual Meeting of the Trustees will be held at the Griffin Inn... composition will be paid... for four shares or securities... to such Creditors on the Tolls of the said Turnpike Road... Poster, size 15" x 10", folds, brownish off-setting. Leach, Printer and Stationer, Wisbech. 28th January, 1856. £14.00

  3. Ely STOCK-IN-TRADE OF A TAILOR late the property of Mr Benjamin Bailey, of Ely, deceased, consisting of 452 Yards of Woollen Cloths, Grandrills, Velveteens... Antique and Modern Furniture, Quantity of This Season Poppies in Bags... Auction sale particular, 4p., 8vo. 1885. £7.00

  4. Isle of Ely POWER OF ATTORNEY whereby Daniel Swaine of Leverington appoints James Allardes of London, Merchant, his attorney. Allardes is empowered to receive money due to Swaine from the Exchequer paid to three named people on the conviction of Thomas Newman and William Johnson for felony and burglary. 28 lines on folio sheet, signed by Swaine and two witnesses, fine armorial wax seal. Traces of a long tear from the half-way down the right edge to the bottom, which has been professionally repaired. 1775. £18.00

  5. Pipe office ORDER TO RE-PAY Thomas Shepeard, Sheriff of Cambridge and Huntingdon for the year ended Michaelmas 1784, money he overpaid. Written on both sides of folio sheet, two paragraphs signed by Jno. Heaton, Deputy Clerk of the Pipe, and 26 lines signed 'Graham' at the Whitehall Treasury Chamber 1785, authorising the payment. Long professionally repaired tear across bottom of sheet. 1785. £18.00
